Preparation of the Extended Abstract
Authors are invited to submit an Extended Abstract (4-5 pages) presenting the originality, significance, and relevance of their work. The extended abstract should include:
- Paper title;
- Authors’ names and affiliations;
- Abstract;
- Introduction outlining the problem and the current state of the art;
- Description of the proposed contribution;
- Preliminary results obtained and their potential applications;
- Conclusions;
- References.
All submissions will undergo a peer-review process. Authors will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of their submission. Accepted authors will then be invited to prepare a Final Paper, taking into account the reviewers’ comments and recommendations.
NOTE: excessively short or very preliminary abstracts that do not allow a proper evaluation of the technical content might be desk-rejected.
Extended Abstract Template
To ensure consistency in the conference proceedings, Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts using the official IMEKO World Congress templates.
