As the Chair of the IMEKO XXV World Congress it is a great honor and privilege to welcome you to Rimini, a resort town in Emilia-Romagna, on Italy’s east coast.

We have lined up an exciting programme that will include scientific sessions covering fundamental and applied research, workshops, distinguished plenary and keynote speakers, industry-led concurrent sessions, and a plethora of networking opportunities. The congress aims to explore the new challenges that metrology will face, bringing together researchers, practitioners, industry experts and professionals from different disciplines.
